Seed-stage funding tumbled to $7.8 Mn across five deals this week as against $22.3 Mn across five deals last week

Indian startups cumulatively raised $426 Mn across 19 deals between June 15 and June 19, marking a significant jump from the $243 Mn secured across 25 deals last week.

The week was headlined by Sarvam’s $234 Mn Series B fundraise, the largest single deal of the week and one of the biggest rounds ever raised by an Indian AI startup, pushing the sector to the top of the funding charts.
