Colombian AI startup Dapta raised $6M in a seed round led by Chingona Ventures, with participation from Crew Capital, Broom Ventures, Cometa, 500 Global, and Fen Ventures.
Dapta develops AI agents that automate sales through WhatsApp and phone calls. Its platform contacts potential customers, answers questions, qualifies leads, and schedules meetings. Its latest product, Dapti, charges businesses based on qualified meetings rather than the number of conversations.
Dapta will use the funds to improve its technology, acquire customers, and expand its engineering and product teams.
Dapta has over 200,000 registered users and adds approximately 4,000 each week. Its clients include Rappi, Mercado Libre, and Siigo.
