Flai, a San Francisco based AI startup founded by three Uruguayans, raised $27M in a Series A round led by Base10 Partners. First Round Capital, Toyota Ventures, Y Combinator, Friedkin Group and Findlay Automotive also participated.

Founded in 2025 by Ari Polakof, Alen Polakof and Juan Alzugaray, Flai develops AI agents that handle customer calls, messages, and emails, schedule appointments, send maintenance reminders, and follow up with potential buyers. Its platform integrates with dealership management systems and CRM software.

Flai will use the funds to attract new customers, increase sales to existing clients, and expand its team. The company also plans to open an office in Uruguay in November 2026.

Flai schedules more than 50,000 appointments per month and serves more than 10 of the 50 largest dealership groups in the US. Its revenue increased 20 fold over the past year, while its team grew from three to approximately 40 employees.
