A 3-in-1 travel charger that can power up my iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods is one of the first items I pack for any trip. I've tried out plenty of options, but these are my favorite chargers for keeping the holy trinity of Apple gadgets going strong while on vacation or a work trip.
Many of these picks will also happily charge Qi2 Android phones and other devices that support wireless charging. Since space is at a premium when traveling, they all feature clever compact designs.

Updated June 2026: I've added new chargers from Satechi, added details on Qi2 25W and StandBy and Nightstand modes, reorganized this guide, and updated prices.
Packing space is often limited when you travel, so it's very handy that Anker's MagGo 3-in-1 folds down to a slim, compact form. Despite the small size, it packs plenty of power, charging your iPhone or Qi2-certified phone at up to 15 watts on a magnetic pad that you can adjust to your preferred angle. A second pad behind the main one charges AirPods or other wireless earbuds, and there's a fold-out Apple Watch charger.
It can feel a little crowded when fully loaded, but I appreciate the space-saving design when packing a bag. While you can find faster options below with chargers that feature Qi2 25W, it's not widely supported and makes little difference if you charge your devices overnight.
ESR’s latest folding 3-in-1 charger brings 25-watt charging for Qi2 25W-supported phones, fast Apple Watch charging, and an effective cooling fan. This 3-in-1 model folds away neatly and has a strong magnetic pad that supports portrait or landscape orientation. You can also adjust the angles for the phone and watch chargers. The fan is relatively quiet, but I prefer total silence at night so I was pleased to find a button that turns it off for when you’re trying to sleep.
The plastic construction doesn’t feel premium, but it is lightweight, and the rubber feet do a decent job of preventing it from sliding around. It is more expensive than ESR's previous release, the HaloLock, and the faster charging probably isn’t worth it if you’re primarily charging overnight, but overall this is a decent travel charger with a boost of speed.
A classy look elevates this folding 3-in-1 stand charger that can accommodate your phone in portrait or landscape orientation. It is Qi2 25W-certified, so it can deliver 25 watts to supported phones (15 watts to others). There’s a fold-out Apple Watch charger on the back to fast-charge Apple Watch 7 and above, and a spot for earbuds on the base. It feels sturdy and secure, with rubber grips to prevent sliding, and supports StandBy mode. It's relatively compact for travel, but also looks good enough to be your permanent bedside charger. Not only does the whole thing fold flat, but it also comes with UK and EU adapters for the included power brick.
Satechi's latest model is plastic with a soft-touch finish; the original version ($130) was a little more luxurious with vegan leather and aluminum. The original is still a great option if you don't mind the 15-watt charging rate.
With a clean white finish, elegant folding design, and warm ambient light, this 3-in-1 charger from Journey is a delightful travel companion. Ordinarily, I hate superfluous lights on a charger, but this is no pointless LED; it’s a gentle glow that comes from behind the Apple Watch shelf on the back, with a touch-sensitive power button on the front. It’s nice to have when you wake up in an unfamiliar, pitch-dark hotel room. You can fold it out to stand mode to charge all three Apple gadgets at once, or lay it flat if you just need to charge your iPhone and AirPods.
While this folding 3-in-1 charger isn’t quite as compact as Anker’s below, I love that you can use the iPhone charging pad when it’s folded up. The Apple Watch charger can also pop up for Nightstand mode. It’s finished in a soft fake leather material and folds up for easy carrying in the provided pouch. You get a cable to plug into the USB-C port, but no power supply, so you’ll need to provide a 30-watt power adapter. There is also a 2-in-1 version ($80) for just your iPhone and Apple Watch.
If you are really pressed for space, this is the smallest 3-in-1 charger you can get. It folds up to resemble a macaron and is easy to stow, but it's not a power bank, so you do still need a cable and wall charger (both supplied). Unfolded, you get a magnetic pad to charge your iPhone at up to 15 watts, a middle pad for your AirPods, and an Apple Watch charger on the right. The design is lovely to handle and has a soft-touch finish with a durable silicone strap. I still prefer stand-style chargers because they allow you to angle your iPhone and use StandBy mode, but the MagGo UFO lets you travel as light as possible.
This genius petite gadget is perfect for folks who love to travel light. It’s an Apple Watch charger with a handy carabiner to clip onto your key ring or bag strap. Rotate the magnetic pad, and a USB-C jack pops out. Just to be clear, this is not a power bank—you must plug it into your MacBook, a USB-C port in a wall adapter, or even your iPhone, to use it to charge your Apple Watch or wireless charging AirPods Pro case. It doesn't get more portable than this.
Kuxiu Qi2 25W Travel Charging Station for $78: This charger folds down to an impressively small package, and it feels sturdy with a silicone-covered metal construction. It can hit 25 watts for supported Qi2 W25 phones, comes in a few different finishes, and ships with a 45-watt power adapter and USB-C cable in the box. Unfortunately, I don’t like the way it looks, and I found it awkward to get all three devices charging at once. It’s actually so compact that it feels crowded.
UAG 3-in-1 Travel and Desktop Charger
UAG 3-in-1 Travel and Desktop Charger for $165: This charger was close to earning a top spot until I clocked the price. It’s a very smart 3-in-1 charging kit that folds flat and comes in a snazzy zip-up bag with a 4-foot braided USB-C cable and 25-watt power adapter, including plugs for the US, UK, and Europe. You can prop your iPhone at different angles on the MagSafe stand, and it works well with StandBy mode and Nightstand mode for your Apple Watch, but it’s not Qi2-certified, so you won’t get the stated 15-watt charging for an iPhone. Ultimately, it’s just too expensive.
Aukey MagFusion Z Qi2 3-in-1 Foldable Charging Station for $80: This clever 3-in-1 charging station folds flat and feels durable, but it’s kind of heavy for travel. I found my Apple Watch tended to lean on one side on the charger and didn’t work with Nightstand mode unless I folded it above the main charger, which is also the position required for the iPhone to sit in landscape orientation for StandBy mode.
Mophie 3-in-1 Travel Charger With MagSafe for $150: This little travel kit comes with a carrying case, charging brick, and USB-C cable. The square stack unfolds to reveal three wireless chargers in one elongated pad. The iPhone sticks magnetically to the center (15 watts), and the Apple Watch dock supports Nightstand mode. There's also a grooved spot for the AirPods. It feels great, is compact, and is pretty lightweight all around.
Twelve South Butterfly 2-in-1 MagSafe Charger for $80: This is an uber compact 2-in-1 charger that looks like a hockey puck. Open the Butterfly, and you'll find two pads that are attached via a rubbery silicone material. You can fast charge an Apple Watch on one—even popping the charger up to take advantage of Nightstand mode—and the other circle lets you recharge your MagSafe iPhone at 15 watts. It's a super compact solution, and Twelve South includes a 30-watt power source and cable with international plug adapters.
Native Union Voyage 2-in-1 MagSafe Charger for $100: For a slightly lower price, reviews editor Adrienne So likes Native Union's Qi2 butterfly solution, which doesn't include plug adapters but does come in a tidy travel pouch and has a cable.
Mous Travel Charger: While the compact folding nature of this charger and the low price impressed me, it gets kinda warm when you charge all three of your Apple devices, and the AirPods spot is finicky.
MagSafe and Qi2, Explained
Most of my picks are MagSafe or Qi2-certified wireless chargers. That means they take advantage of the magnets embedded in the back of the iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, iPhone 15, iPhone 16, and iPhone 17 ranges. The magnets ensure perfect alignment, enabling faster and more efficient wireless charging.
Qi2 is a wireless charging standard that Apple worked with the Wireless Power Consortium to develop. Compared to the original Qi standard, it brings MagSafe-style magnetic charging, enabling faster charging rates and improved efficiency. Apple updated the iPhone 12 and newer to support Qi2, but it’s not just for Apple phones; other phones can get Qi2 certification. While Qi2 Android phones are still thin on the ground, you’ll find Qi2 in Google's Pixel 10 series, and there are Qi2-ready phones that add magnets via a compatible case.
Qi2 charging mostly goes up to 15 watts, but the Qi2.2 update, branded as Qi2 25W, goes up to 25 watts. Support for Qi2 25W is currently very limited, and includes the iPhone 17 range and the Pixel 10 Pro XL.
If you use a case, ensure it is a MagSafe or Qi2 compatible case. A normal case will weaken the pull of the magnets in the device and will not stick to chargers as well. If your case is too thick, your phone may not charge at all.
MagSafe is also available in the AirPods charging case (depending on your model). Apple's AirPods and AirPods Pro with the wireless charging case will work with nearly all of the standard Qi wireless charging pads on these chargers (as will many third-party wireless earbuds), but if you have AirPods with MagSafe, then you can hook them up to the magnetic mounts as well.
What Are StandBy and Nightstand Modes?
I mention StandBy and Nightstand modes throughout this guide, but what are they?
StandBy mode was introduced in iOS 17. When you place your iPhone on a charger in landscape orientation, it turns the screen into a smart display to show the time (with different clock designs to choose from), photos from your library, or widgets. If you have an iPhone that supports an always-on screen, you can choose to have the display automatically turn off after a certain amount of time when the iPhone isn't in use or if the room is dark. Head to Settings > Standby to customize it.
Nightstand mode shows the time on your Apple Watch when the watch is sitting upright and charging, so it can serve as a beside clock. You can customize this on your Apple Watch by heading to Settings > General > Nightstand mode.
