Prime minister says ‘you never hear from … the people who are supportive, loyal and just want to get on with the job’
Other issues coming up on the morning shows today are the King’s upcoming visit to the US and the Falkland Islands, following the release of an internal Pentagon email that discussed reassessing US diplomatic support for longstanding European “imperial possessions” such as the British overseas territory.
“The Falkland Islands are British territory and the only people that get to decide the fate of that are islanders themselves,” Darren Jones, chief secretary to the prime minister, said on Sky News.
